- The RMS Learning Zone – Ask our expert volunteers for help and advice on all things microscopy – and feel free to bring your own samples to view with a range of instruments available to visitors. You can also attend a daily programme of talks in our seminar theatre, completely free!
- Scientific Poster Sessions – Chat with our poster presenters and find out more about their research. Our poster sessions will be taking place in the exhibition hall during the afternoon on Tuesday, 1 July and Wednesday, 2 July, and your exhibition ticket gives you free access!
- RMS Scientific Imaging Competition - Check out our eye-catching gallery of micrographs shortlisted in our biennial imaging competition. The winners will be revealed in a prize-giving ceremony at 1.30pm on Wednesday, 2 July.
- Fantastic networking – With hundreds of attendees from across the microscopy, imaging and cytometry community, mmc2025 is the perfect place to make new connections – whether your microscopy interests are commercial, academic or recreational!

Travel bursaries
For those planning to attend the mmc2025 incorporating EMAG2025 exhibition, a limited number of travel bursaries of up to £50 are *still available* to help cover the costs. Awards will be made on a first come first served basis.
A number of Care and Support grants are also still available. These are to help with additional caring or childcare costs incurred when attending the event
