'Surviving a life changing accident and relearning how to be a scientist'
A thought-provoking talk from Dr Erin Tranfield exploring what it means to be a scientist with a disability is open to all attendees at mmc2023 on Wednesday 5 July (6pm).
Erin will share her personal story of surviving a life-changing accident, and the highs and lows of her ongoing journey to redefine herself as a scientist, an athlete, and a person.
Her much anticipated talk is aimed at providing the audience with new perspectives on how they can support people around them.
The talk is open to all attendees - including those with free, exhibition-only tickets.
